The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulation 2009 and the European agreement know as ADR together regulate the carriage of dangerous goods by road in the UK and Europe. The GB regulations were substantially restructured for 2009 with direct reference to ADR for the main duties. Amending regulations were made in 2011 mainly to reflect changes to the EU Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive.
